In my second year of university, one day while I was walking pass the soccer field, I was hit with an incoming object right in my groin and the pain was so unbearable even more painful that the elastrator band. I must have passed out because I woke up in a clinic. The doctor explained to me is just a hit to my groin and no major damage. How I thought and wish the damaged would be so severe that the doctor would just cut it off that moment. That kick in my groin must have lowered my libido for a time. I noted less sex drive than before and I felt better about myself. The testicles must have somehow suffered some sort of damage that they stop producing hormones and sperm for a short period of time after the injury. How I hope that this could be permanent but it did not last. Within two months, my libido returned, much to my disappointment. During my annual health check, I asked the doctor to order additional test on my testosterone level and sperm count. The doctor looked at me and asked why I need it as I am still young.  I dare not tell the GP because I am sensitive and do not want anyone to know about my history of testicle torture and the injury which will then lead to more questions being asked and my parents would found out and I simply just make up cover story saying that I am curious and would like to be a sperm donor.

The results came back for normal testosterone level around 800ng/L but low sperm count of 8% or about 8 million sperm per ml of ejaculate. On average, a normal healthy male produce around 15-50 million sperm. Doctor explained is because of several reasons I have low sperm count; I knew myself what are the reasons *hides and blush* pretending I don’t know and listened to the doctor explanation. The doctor told me to undress did some further examination to check for lumps and sign of cancer. Nothing found and he did explained that I have a smaller than average testicles size maybe simply because I am of Asian descent. Well at least now I knew for the first time how my testicles are performing. I were quite disappointed that both my testicles still working after all these years of abusing it and even though I have low sperm count it doesn't bother me.

Castration is not morally and ethically right for everyone. No healthy men would want to lose their testicles nor their male hormones in their body and nor any surgeon would remove a healthy testicles just because one simply likes the idea or has fantasy to be castrated. The Procedure

There quite a few people asked me questions how I was castrated and the recovery process. Depending on which doctor performs your orchiectomy, there will be some sort of variations in terms of procedure but the outcome and the effects remains the same. If your doctor knows what they are doing, then is just a minor procedure for them. There always chance for complications like any other surgery and risk associated with it but with good doctor, the chances are minimal and the procedure will only be mildly unpleasant and recovery is pretty quick.  Those who attempt any type of DIY castration will likely have different experience. This is because genital area, there a lot blood vessel and chances of serious or deadly bleeding not to mention the risk of infection is very high, it is not recommended that you perform DIY castration yourself.
