Commonly asked Questions
Why do some non-transgendered males want to be
castrated?
EXCESSIVE LIBIDO - Some men as well as transgendered person wish
to seek relief from their out of control libido caused by high testosterone
level while some seek to control their re-imprisonment or would not want to
breach parole period for those who have sexual offences. Be it whatever
reasons you might have, castration does have dramatic effects on the male sex
drive, particularly if the person does not take any hormone replacement
afterwards. I've heard men masturbating four to five times daily before
castration to a couple of times per month after the surgery. I am one of those
men with excessive masturbation *laugh*. There are some men have choose
castration over vasectomy over castration simply because they have gone from
wanting too much sex from their partners to not wanting it often enough. After
castration, no doubt that testosterone will drop dramatically but our adrenal
gland will start produce some testosterone but is not enough compared to
the hormones produces from the testicles. Some people will make
enough testosterone after surgery to maintain a moderate amount of sexuality.
Of course everyone is different.
CHRONIC TESTICLE PAIN - I hear and read a lot of men suffering from
this complain and often their doctors often ignore and don't understand. I was
lucky that I did not suffer from testicles torsion when I was hit although I
wish I had. I only had mild pain in the testicles unlike some men who reported
to have constant pain for years before they obtained relief from castration.
Those men have to accept all other effects of castration such as impotence,
permanent infertility, loss of energy and loss of strength. It is a difficult
choice of dealing with the pain or accepting the results of castration in
exchange for the pain relief. Therefore use your own judgement and ONLY you can
decide what is good for you.
MEDICAL REASON @ TESTICLE CANCER or PROSTATE
CANCER - There numerous
reports on men suffering from either cancer need to have their testicles
removed for this reason. I suppose in this case, there not a lot of choice to
make. Either loose an organ or life. Many men exchanged their testicles for
life which is expected but a lot of those men are not prepared to live the
effects of castration. There are reports saying depending on the age the person
is castrated, he will not develop prostate cancer or testicular cancer because
the testosterone had been eliminated after castration. Which in fact is true as
testicle and prostate cancer are driven by testosterone. Again this choice
is make by YOU after serious considerations to your own health benefits in
consultation with your doctor. Is for you to judge is this for me.
