The Procedure

There quite a few people asked me questions how I was castrated and the recovery process. Depending on which doctor performs your orchiectomy, there will be some sort of variations in terms of procedure but the outcome and the effects remains the same. If your doctor knows what they are doing, then is just a minor procedure for them. There always chance for complications like any other surgery and risk associated with it but with good doctor, the chances are minimal and the procedure will only be mildly unpleasant and recovery is pretty quick.  Those who attempt any type of DIY castration will likely have different experience. This is because genital area, there a lot blood vessel and chances of serious or deadly bleeding not to mention the risk of infection is very high, it is not recommended that you perform DIY castration yourself. Effects of Castration Part 4

VOICE   - If a person is castrated prior to puberty, they will have a high pitch voice as seen in the choir boys in the last century or so. Therefore even after orchiectomy, the voice will not change. Transgender and transsexual somehow softer their voice to sound more feminine.   MENTAL EFFECTS   - I have not suffered any memory loss since my castration but overtime it will or might catch up with me as I grow older. At the moment I have taking supplement like fish oil daily in order to minimize this effects on me. Again this varies from person to person.   FEELING CALM   - I was feeling a lot calmer after my orchiectomy. Walking down the streets of Bangkok, even with heavy traffic and congestion, waiting for the train, my flight and etc., I feel a lot calmer and more patiently waiting. However in saying that, sometime I still feel and act the way I had been prior to orchiectomy due depending on the circumstances I am in but certainly felt better all the time.   POST SURGE

Effects on Castration Part 3

HOT FLASHES   - I felt the first hot flashes, three days after my surgery. Is nothing too uncomfortable just a rush of warmth around my neck and my feet getting a little cold than usual. It lasted only for minutes for me so is nothing major. Does not bother me at this stage. I have been taking supplements called (Menopause Balance) from Swisse for more than 6 months prior to my orchiectomy surgery. Perhaps that somehow helped me overcome this effects of hot flashes. This effects varies from person to person.   WEIGHT GAIN   - I lost 4kg prior to my orchiectomy. I have been eating healthy combined with exercise. I always very conscious about my weight and tend to watch out what I eat. I do not eat fatty and salty foods that often anymore, hardly drink any fizzy drinks and coffee. I substitute those for more natural fruit juice, green tea, apple cider with honey and plain water with a slice of lemon. Effects of Castration Cont Part 2

MUSCLE STRENGTH   - As I keep my exercise regime with daily walking and running, I only have slight decrease in muscle strength. In saying that lifting anything heavy definitely wears me out faster compared to pre surgery. But nothing major as yet to happen. Fingers crossed *laugh* Prior to castration, all my friends sees me as a weak person and I never really admire how my other male peer can always show off in the gym and seemed to have more strength than I. Thus after surgery, I still have considerable amount of upper body strength. Bottom line is that muscle mass do decrease as levels of testosterone drop after orchiectomy unless the person start HRT immediately after surgery but it kind of defeats the purpose of having orchiectomy in the first place in my opinion.   PHYSICAL APPEARENCE   - I maintained my physical appearance after castration. Effects of Castration

The elimination of testosterone causes a variety of physical and emotional effects in each person. Each effects in individuals who went through castration vary from person to person but most of the effects are common. The effects can be a blessing for those who truly wanted castration and yet devastating for those whose just merely get himself castrated because of fantasy. Each person is unique and your own effects, particularly regarding the changes in weight, loss of strength and muscle mass, hot flashes, may turn out to be very different from mine. Methods of Castration cont

ELASTRATOR BAND - Is an also a castration tools used in farm. Elastrator band is much painful as it constricts blood flow to the testicles and slowly kills the testicles off by cutting blood supply to the testicles. This process could take anywhere from 2-12 hours to complete. Elastrator is a tight rubber band placed at the base of the testicles as close as possible to the penis and a second band is placed around 1-2cm from the first band. Once the testicles is dead, it can be cut off in between the 1st and the 2nd band. This procedure is more risky than Burdizzo and risk a lot of later complications. Methods of Castration

There are a lot of methods for castration in this modern society and especially in advancement of internet technologies. The most common method is Surgery. Not all people can afford surgery and nor all surgeon would do it unless you have a particular case such as medical or if you are a transgender. Often a lot of these eunuch resorted to less common used techniques such as Burdizzo, Elastrator band, Injection, a through cutter. I will go through in brief each method. SURGERY - This procedure is done through a qualified and trained surgeon. To be able to do the surgery, one must be in good health, no reactions to anesthesia and would need a letter of consent from yourself and a letter from transgender therapist or psychologist or urologist if medical prior to the surgery.
