The Procedure
There quite a few people asked me questions how
I was castrated and the recovery process. Depending on which doctor performs
your orchiectomy, there will be some sort of variations in terms of procedure
but the outcome and the effects remains the same. If your doctor knows
what they are doing, then is just a minor procedure for them. There always
chance for complications like any other surgery and risk associated with
it but with good doctor, the chances are minimal and the procedure
will only be mildly unpleasant and recovery is pretty quick.
Those who attempt any type of DIY castration
will likely have different experience. This is because genital area, there a
lot blood vessel and chances of serious or deadly bleeding not to mention the
risk of infection is very high, it is not recommended that you perform DIY
castration yourself. Get some who have knowledge before proceeding to do it
yourself. Those who seriously attempted self-castration often do no succeed and
usually end up seeking medical treatment for bleeding or infection not to mention
the extreme pain without the use of anesthesia. The use of burdizzo is quite
popular among those who self-castrate but does one have the will to close those
clamp?
COST - I paid Dr Peera from PAI Consult, Thailand $3900 USD dollar.
The package include one night accommodation in private room after surgery,
operating room and recovery room charges, food for 1 night, laboratory testing
(necessary), general anesthesia, doctor fees, medical treatment post operation
include medications and doctor's appointment, private nurses and transportation
pickup to and from airport. In addition to that, return air fares cost me
around $800, accommodation for 12 nights around $450 plus $1000 for emergency.
Not to mention another $400 for the letter from the therapist so overall
around $5500 just to have my testicles removed.
THERAPY - I found an online therapist Dr Graham and after a few sessions
with him, he agrees to write me the letter for my orchiectomy. We had a few
sessions over the Skype and went through series of questions which I will not
discussed here. There therapist in Thailand and depending which clinic you go,
there onsite therapist who will write you the letter but means additional days
in Thailand. There are hardly any surgeon who will perform orchiectomy without any letter so my advice is get the letter of recommendation first prior
to the orchiectomy.
